Wearing the same that I wear now
A sadly face in fields of red
Is it bad to see that all seems to change?
She's running from the men in the schoolyard
She's running through the field to the closed heart
They're crying as the moon bleed on them
Little trues within her, takes its place inside her, starts to scream.
She cuts the veins of her wrist
She sits and listens to a church clock
Oh, mommy, mommy, don't send me away
Never been a bad girl, I swear that nothing had changed
She's running from the face of her mother
She's running from the noise in a crowded room
She's running from the things mommy told her
The latter sound of lies, the feeling that's inside her starts to scream.
At the end of the night comes a cold, cold day
Fading shadows to bear a newborn death
Two voices fade into one
She closed her eyes with the rising moon.
She's running to the arms of a devil.
She's running from the only place she's ever love
She's running with her heart left behind her
You knew when you found her that you just couldn't touch her anymore.
